YOu can try to upgrade to the latest software version, but given that your device is new nd you’re having issues, i’d make an appointment at your local apple store or authorized service provider and get it checked out. If something is physically wrong best to get it documented as quickly as possible

Hi,

Hi,
After restoring from a backup, these things tend to happen, especially if you have a large number of apps. I would leave the iPad overnight, and if they are still loading then try deleting the apps and downloading them again. Edit: also, make sure you are connected to WiFi so that the apps can download.
Hope this helps!

Possible Fixes for El Capitan or Later
You should try each, one at a time, then test to see if the problem is fixed before going on to the next.
Be sure to backup your files before proceeding if possible.
- Shutdown the computer, wait 30 seconds, restart the computer.
- Resetting your Mac’s PRAM and NVRAM
- Reset the System Management Controller (SMC)
- Start the computer in Safe Mode, then restart normally. This is slower than a standard startup.
- Repair the disk by booting from the Recovery HD. Immediately after the chime hold down the Command and R keys until the Utility Menu appears. Choose Disk Utility and click on the Continue button. Select the indented (usually, Macintosh HD) volume entry from the side list. Click on the First Aid button in the toolbar. Wait for the Done button to appear. Quit Disk Utility and return to the Utility Menu. Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
- Create a New User Account Open Users & Groups preferences. Click on the lock icon and enter your Admin password when prompted. On the left under Current User click on the Add [+] button under Login Options. Setup a new Admin user account. Upon completion log out of your current account then log into the new account. If your problems cease, then consider switching to the new account and transferring your files to it - Transferring files from one User Account to another.
- Download and install the OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 Combo Update or 10.12.6 Combo Update or macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Combo Update as needed.
- Reinstall OS X by booting from the Recovery HD using the Command and R keys. When the Utility Menu appears select Reinstall OS X then click on the Continue button.
- Erase and Install OS X Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime hold down the Command and R keys until the Apple logo appears. When the Utility Menu appears:
- Select Disk Utility from the Utility Menu and click on Continue button.
- When Disk Utility loads select the drive (out-dented entry) from the Device list.
- Click on the Erase icon in Disk Utility's toolbar. A panel will drop down.
- Set the Format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.)
- Click on the Apply button, then wait for the Done button to activate and click on it.
- Quit Disk Utility and return to the Utility Menu.
- Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.

After upgrade to iOS 11.2.5 iPhone 6 no longer communicates with Apple Watch 3

Thank you very much.
I had to unpair the watch from iPhone, which resulted in unpairing and back-up and a warning that the watch was not properly paired, so I was told to reset the watch to factory settings.
I reset the watch.
Then, both watch and iPhone were in a position to pair each other. The process was more sophisticated and took longer than my first pairing. there was also a synchronization phase, but after 10 to 15 minutes the watch was paired again and looked the same as before unpairing. It took some more minutes so that all the applications to be installed again on the watch (this was done automatically).
Very happy to have my watch working again!

Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time. You may need to do this 2-3 times.
Try a SMC reset. The article covers when this is required, but doing this will not affect anything.

Thanks for your help everyone. I didn't find anything wrong with my system. However, I did solve the problem. Somehow, Java got turned off. So, certain web pages were not working on Safari, but were working on other browsers. With me, updating leads to tinkering. So, it was probably me.
Problem solved!
Thanks!

Hey there, Zeta,
It looks like you haven't gotten a response to your post yet. If you could answer the following questions, it may help others in the Apple Support Communities get you to a solution:
- Where are you trying to share the pictures from: the Photos app? iPhoto for iOS? Another app?
- What happens when you try to share to Mail: is the option not there? Do you get an error?
- What is the iOS version number currently installed on your iPad mini, located under Settings > General > About > Version.

Here's the battery issue, because it's happening to me. In it's "possessed" mode, the watch is under constant use. This is what causes the battery depletion. My watch would normally be at 65% battery life at the end of a 16-hr day of normal use. These past two days it was down to 10% after 10 hours or less, so I spoke to Apple Support last night. Diagnostic showed the battery to be at the top of the "good" mark. Off, on, hard reset, unpaired and paired and I was then to check it out today. Waiting for a call back at 5 p.m. to tell them if it's okay. But last night I'm glancing at my watch and it's acting like I'm turning the crown back and forth, yet I'm not. I have the Astronomy watch face, and the earth is going through its cycle, back and forth, pausing, starting up again, while I'm doing nothing. Yeah - like it was possessed. So - that's what is causing the large battery drain. Heavy usage. I took my watch off (who really wants to wear a possessed watch? :-p ) and will await the call back tonight and then schedule service.
