I bought a used iPhone 5s and initially it had 10.1.1 on it. I had the exact same problem with the Bluetooth. I upgraded it to iOS 11.2.1 and I still had the same issues.

Then I bought a brand new iPhone X that had 11.2.1 already installed on it. The Bluetooth worked 100% fine.

I was reading about this Bluetooth issue with iPhone 5's right from when they were released in 2012. I think it was solved but iOS 10 seemed to bring this 2012 problem back. This has to be a hardware/software issue with the Bluetooth in the 5, 5c and 5s. It will not work properly with some hands-free devices.

Hi

Go to iCloud make sure iCloud back up is on Then backup now over your wifi.

Then go to settings down to reset Restore iPhone back to factory settings.

Set back up over your wifi when it asks if you want to use iCloud backup Say yes to get your apps and data back this will get rid of any bugs.

If you still have a problem contact your network provider for a carrier /simcard update.

Cheers

Brian

With Wrist Detection and passcode enabled, your Apple Watch will not ring if you leave it behind by accident.

If you are not yet doing so, use these settings:

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Passcode.
  • Turn on each of Wrist Detection, Passcode and Unlock with iPhone.

After putting it on your wrist, your Apple Watch will then unlock after whatever you do first: either unlocking your watch manually (by entering the passcode) or unlocking your iPhone.

It will then remain unlocked (including when the screen is asleep) until you remove it from your wrist.

When you remove your Apple Watch, it will lock automatically.

With Wrist Detection enabled, in order to bring notifications to your attention as soon as possible:

  • If your iPhone is unlocked, then you will receive notification alerts on your iPhone instead of on your Apple Watch.
  • If your iPhone is locked or asleep and your Apple Watch is unlocked (regardless of whether the watch display is asleep or awake) and on your wrist, you will receive notification alerts on your watch.
  • If your Apple Watch is locked or has Do Not Disturb enabled, then notifications will go to your iPhone.
  • Alerts for incoming phone calls are delivered to both devices, but are not delivered to your Apple Watch unless you are wearing it and it is unlocked.

Hi

Apple Watch supports using compatible Bluetooth headphones that are paired to the watch for listening to music from your Apple Watch, but not for making or receiving phone calls.

If you would like to submit a feature request to Apple, then you can do so here:

That's because AT&T supports (and you have enabled) WiFi calling on your phone. If you're connected to WiFi, and there is no cellular network available, calls and text messages go over WiFi.

Hi Satpen.

Glad that it's working now.

My apologies. With the iPhone 7 and newer, you press and hold down the volume down button on the left side of your  iPhone while still holding down the On/Off button to do a hard reset.
