upgraded from lion to yosemite and can't find iphoto library

I upgraded my osx from Lion to Yosemite on a partitioned drive.

the other drive is snow Leopard.

I was running out of space on snow leopard so moved my pictures library to the Lion partition location (just because it had tons of space avail).

I didn't even think about it when upgrading my osx.

Is there any way to recover it from the Lion partition - that I can't even see any longer?

Why don't I see the Yosemite partition when I boot in Snow Leopard?

Thanks

Snow Leopard can't 'read' the newer OS versions due to changes.

You upgraded the Lion partition to Yosemite? The Library should be in your User/Picture folder. If it isn't there, do you have a backup of the partition you can restore from?
