My Snapchat hasn’t  updated to the newest version

So I have noticed that there is a new Snapchat update that came out this year (2018) and everyone as has it except for me. Every time it updates it doesn’t update to the new platform and I would like to have the new platform and I am trying to find a way to get it but nothing works I would like help to get the new Snapchat update
